A GLASGOW school has been brought into the 21st century with the official opening of a new super-campus.
The £4.75million facility in Cranhill houses St Maria Goretti Primary School, formerly St Modan's and St Elizabeth Seton Primaries, and Lamlash Nursery School.
State-of-the-art equipment, including a hi-tech library, media suite and five interactive Smart Boards, ensure the children get the most from lessons.
And Headteacher Carol Bristow is thrilled with the new school.
She said: "As you walk through the doors it inspires the children and creates a stimulating environment for learning."
She added: "I'm really proud of the new campus. The children have merged so well together that you would never think that they were two different schools."
Nursery head teacher Margot Sagan said: "The children have settled very well into their new environment and the new facilities are really making a difference to their learning."
The campus was officially opened today by Councillor Margaret McCafferty, executive member for education services.
Archbishop of Glasgow Mario Conti blessed the new campus.
