AN EDUCATION pack has been launched to help children make the stressful transition from primary to secondary school.
The resource, unveiled today by children's charity Barnardo's Scotland, is focused on teaching kids how to avoid being bullied and promoting self esteem.
Aiming For High, which contains card games, worksheets and a DVD, was developed by gathering the opinions of young people.
Speaking at today's launch, education minister Hugh Henry said: "We know making the transition to secondary school can be difficult for many pupils.
"That's why we're committed to finding ways to ease the transition and ensure all pupils get the support they need."
