A MAN has been arrested in connection with the death of a 48-year-old who was found bleeding to death in a flat.
The 22-year-old man is in police custody following the death of Andrew Healey in Chapelhall, near Airdrie.
Paramedics battled to save the victim, but he died in the flat in Gibb Street at around 10.25pm on Monday.
Police stood guard outside the flat yesterday as forensic teams carried out a search.
A spokesman said a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal. The man was due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court today.
