SCOTTISH ROCKS' hopes of winning the British Basketball League Cup have suffered a setback with Sterling Davis being ruled out of Sunday's Final showdown against Guildford Heat.
The American forward has been battling to recover from a knee injury he picked up in the semi-final victory over Newcastle, but has finally had to concede defeat.
Davis has returned to training, but disappointed Rocks coach Thorsten Leibenath said he has no chance of being available for the match in Birmingham.
"He has started to run but can't turn properly," he said.
