DUNDEE UNITED boss Craig Levein led mourners at the funeral of chairman Eddie Thompson yesterday.
Former Terrors bosses Paul Hegarty, Ian McCall and Craig Brewster also attended St Mary's Episcopal Church in Broughty Ferry to hear Levein pay tribute to the "most passionate man" he had met in his life.
"I would go and see him after training and he would be showing school kids around the boardroom, telling them the complete history of Dundee United," Levein said. "I would look at his face and see the immense joy he got and how passionate he was."
