WOLVES manager Mick McCarthy has reassured supporters that Scotland striker Chris Iwelumo will be going nowhere during the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old's 15 goals this season have helped Wolves to the top of the Championship, and McCarthy said: "If any other clubs come for our best players they will get the same reaction from my chairman, my chief executive and from me. To put it in simple terms, they will be told politely to go away."
Meanwhile, Scotland and Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon says he is still weeks away from recovering from his persistent ankle injury.
"I can't really put a time-scale on when I will be back but it looks like it will be a few weeks yet," he said.
"I was given a few days away from the training ground last week for a bit of rest."
