GLASGOW Warriors scrum-half Mark McMillan has warned his team-mates to expect a Bath backlash at Firhill in Sunday's Heineken Cup Pool 5 return clash.

Sean Lineen's side out-scored the English giants by five tries to four at the Rec last Sunday as they went down with all guns blazing 35-31.

McMillan said: "Bath didn't respect us as much as they should have at the Rec.

"They play an exciting brand of rugby at home, but from my experience of playing them away, they are a bit more conservative.

"But they will try and play a good off-loading game and attack from wherever it is on.

"They will bring a little more kicking into their game rather than run from anywhere like they do at the Rec.

"But we beat Biarritz at Firhill last season and that was a big scalp. To beat Bath on Sunday would be a bigger one."

The former Wasps star will miss out for the second week on the bounce after undergoing knee ligament surgery, but has backed deputy Colin Gregor to provide silver service to a try-thirsty Warriors backline.

He said: "Colin is a tidy player with great skills, who did very well at the Rec. He also showed he has a big game temperament and can supply quick ball so I am confident he will have a big game.

Meanwhile, hooker Fergus Thomson will make his return to first-team action on Sunday in an entirely new front row from last week's thriller at the Rec, with Justin Va'a replacing Kevin Tkachuk and Moray Low being promoted ahead of Ed Kalman.

In the second row, Scotland A' international Dan Turner comes in for captain Alastair Kellock who is resting a shoulder injury.

Dan Parks will wear the captain's armband in Kellock's absence.
