GLASGOW CITY bounced back from their 2-1 home defeat by Celtic to thrash Boroughmuir 12-0 at Glasgow Green in the only Scottish Women's Premier League match to beat the frost.
Striker Ruesha Littlejohn stole the show with six goals while the other scorers were Clare Gemmell (2), Leanne Ross (2), Katharina Lindner and Jane Brown.
City boss Peter Caulfield said: "We restored a bit of pride. After Thursday, the girls were all extremely disappointed and I asked for a performance and I most definitely got that."
City are now in third place, 14 points behind the Hoops with three games in hand.
