ARTHUR NUMAN is set to provide Holland with a full dossier on John Fleck ahead of their World Cup qualifying clash with Scotland next month.

The 17-year-old has made a massive impact at Rangers after Ibrox boss Walter Smith decided to unleash him on the first team.

Fleck's displays haven't gone unnoticed by international manager George Burley after watching the youngster scoop a couple of man-of-the-match awards and scoring his first senior goal against Dundee United since breaking into the starting line-up within the last month.

Despite not ever representing the Under-21s at any stage, the Rangers youngster could now find himself being drafted into the full squad ahead of next month's vital World Cup qualifying clash in Amsterdam.

But Numan, who is part of the coaching staff for the Dutch B' team, will provide his country with a report card on Fleck.

He said: "Scotland are struggling on the left wing so there is every chance John could play and I wouldn't be surprised if he was to get a call-up.

"He has played the last few games for Rangers and did very well, so I suppose it's only natural the link with Scotland has appeared.

"Fleck is a young boy, but he certainly has a bright future ahead of him and, without doubt, he will be a star."

Numan, however, is confident Holland will prove too hot to handle for Scotland by winning next month's encounter.

He said: "It is an important game for us as well because we play two matches within the space of four days and we have to take maximum points. If we beat Scotland and then Macedonia, we will be very close to qualifying for the World Cup in 2010.

"It will be a special game and the atmosphere will be fantastic. To be honest, we are at home and, with the quality we have in the squad, we expect to beat Scotland.

"But we know they always give 100 per cent and they work really hard to get a result.

"However, we are at home and we know that we must win the game so I would be confident that would be the case."
