Hamilton are set to tie up Ibrox kid Jordan McMillan on a loan deal as they bolster their squad ahead of the second half of the SPL campaign.
The defender, who can play right-back or centre-back, has had talks with Accies and boss Billy Reid is hopeful of adding him to his squad.
Reid wants any moves for the player to be finalised in order that he can play against Aberdeen on Saturday.
The addition of McMillan would bolster Reid's hopes of beating the drop and, with finances tight, loan options are the most efficient way of bringing in a couple of new faces.
However, Reid has admitted he may need to offload a couple of players if there are to be further additions.
He said: "We are working to see what we can do and hopefully we can work something out to get one or two in."
