TODAY'S Champions League last 16 draw served up three mouthwatering English-Italian ties.

Sir Alex Ferguson will come face-to face with old adversary Jose Mourinho as defending champions Manchester United line up against Inter Milan.

Chelsea will face a reunion with former manager Claudio Ranieri after being paired with Juventus, while Arsenal will take on Roma.

And it didn't get any easier for Liverpool, who will be up against Real Madrid.

Favourites Barcelona meet French champions Lyon, Villarreal meet Panathinaikos, Sporting Lisbon tackle Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid play Porto.

Mourinho famously enjoyed success against United as Porto boss in 2004 and then went on to develop a fierce rivalry with Old Trafford boss Ferguson after moving to Chelsea.

Ties to be played on February 24 and 25 and March 10 and 11.

Aalborg, who beat Celtic to a place in the last 32 of the Uefa Cup, are at home in the first leg to Deportivo La Coruna. Manchester City go to Copenhagen, Aston Villa entertain CSKA Moscow, while Spurs are at Shakhtar Donetsk.

Ties on February 18 and 19 and February 26.
