SCOTT McDONALD believes the Celtic squad pushing for their fourth SPL title in a row is the strongest yet.

But, even though the champions are now seven points clear of Rangers, the little Aussie hitman has no intention of taking his foot off the gas.

He said: "We're 12 games unbeaten with a lot of players coming and going and no set starting 11 which we had for the majority of last season.

"That just shows the squad is a lot stronger, which is great. We've a few guys still to come back so we look forward to that as well.

"But, it's not over until it's over. We're only in December and the league doesn't finish until May, so there is a lot of hard work still to be done."

McDonald is delighted at the way Celtic have bounced back from losing to Rangers at the start of the season but revealed: "Nobody has discussed for one minute this unbeaten run we are having.

"It's just something that's come about and we'll continue to take one game at a time and hopefully keep it going."
