READING have been fined £30,000 for breaching rules regarding multiple financial interests.

In August 2013, the Royals borrowed £10.5m from Vibrac Corporation, a company registered in the British Virgin Islands, who also had nterests in three Premier League clubs. This was followed by a further loan of £5.6m in May 2014.

A Football Disciplinary Commission decided to fine the club £30,000 for this breach, but the punishment has been suspended until May 2016 due to the club's co-operation.

A Football League statement said all sums owed to Vibrac by Reading were re-paid following the club's takeover by its current owners in August 2014.
