HOOK came from behind twice to claim a valuable 3-2 victory away at Bramley United in the Basingstoke and District Saturday League Premier Division.

Sam Cato gave the hosts an early lead, but Dan Mason levelled on the half-hour and it remained 1-1 until half-time. Ben Squibb’s volley gave Bramley the advantage for a second time, but Tom Davies’ penalty made it 2-2 and Andy Parker grabbed the winner for Hook.

Basingstoke Labour Club are up to second in Division Two after beating bottom side AFC Berg 3-1.

Cameron George had Labour ahead on 20 minutes, but Kieran Allayne levelled before half-time. Mark Thorpe put the high-flyers back in front and George’s second goal made sure of the points.

Winklebury Wizards maintained their unbeaten record with a 3-2 win over visiting Sherborne St John Reserves.

Rob Perrett gave Sherborne an early lead, but the Wizards soon replied, Louis Clayton levelling the scores. Sherborne led at the break thanks to James Price’s goal, but Winklebury piled on the pressure in the second half and goals from Hugo Carlos and substitute Ryan Watts saw them win the game.
