AFC ALDERMASTON got life in the Thames Valley Premier Division off to a winning start with a 4-2 victor over visiting Wraysbury Village last Wednesday.
Goals from Michael Porter and Kai Parton-Edey had the hosts two ahead inside half-an-hour, but Wraysbury scored either side of the break to pull level.
Aldermaston responded, with Parton-Edey putting them back in front on 65 minutes, while Carmel Tonna’s strike near the end tied up all three points.
Terry Rooney’s men are next in action tonight, travelling to Mortimer, while they host Highmoor Ibis Reserves at the RecSoc on Saturday.
