OVERTON United collected their first point of their Hampshire Premier League campaign as they drew 1-1 at Clanfield.
The visitors got off to a dream start as Matty Bennett played the ball through to Nick Jupp, who found Ollie Bode to fire home.
Clanfield had their chances, but Overton could have added to their tally, as Bode forced a couple of saves and Dave Parry was denied with a one-on-one chance.
With three minutes remaining, Clanfield finally found a way past Overton’s man-of-the-match Sean O’Brien and it finished 1-1.
Tonight, they are in league action again at Stockbridge (kick-off 6.15pm).
