There appears to be some sort of backlog on the Gazette's video upload system, so I'll see if I can get Jason's reaction online when I get home.
Your next live sport is next Saturday, when Town host Hayes and Yeading. Let's hope they can keep this run going.
YES YES YES! 3-0 to the mighty @BASINGSTOKE_FC big win against a much fancied @bromleyfc onwards and upwards #bastown #dragonssoaring— @StokieDragon 16 August 2014
By my reckoning, Town are up to second in the Conference South table thanks to today's win.
Excellent from Town, who have upset a side who are expected to do well this season. Fully deserved too, and Bristow got his tactics spot on.
Reaction to follow.
Bromley 0-3 Basingstoke Town
90+5 - Bromley 0-3 Basingstoke Town - Shaun McAuley
Macklin puts Dunn in and his strong run ends with him squaring to give SHAUN McAULEY a tap-in.
90+3 - Dunn makes ground before teeing Macklin up, but that's a horrible slice wide.
90 - Another big chance for Bromley as Joseph-Dubois latches on to a flick, but volleys straight into the arms of Henly.
88 - Basingstoke Town - Lloyd Macklin on for Chris Flood
87 - Dennis almost makes the closing stages more interesting, but he heads wide.
85 - Basingstoke Town - David Ray on for Manny Williams
Ray goes to the centre of a back five.
82 - Bromley 0-2 Basingstoke Town - Chris Flood
That's a really good goal. CHRIS FLOOD, having just had a shot blocked, played a one-two with Williams inside the area and finished expertly.
79 - A good block from Rice to stop Dennis getting a cross in, and Town smuggle the resulting corner clear. Nervy times.
75 - Another scramble in the Town area, but Henly is able to claim the ball. Smart is down injured, but he should be okay.
74 - Udoji crosses from the right and Scannell getss up at the near post, but his flick finds nobody at the far post.
71 - Basingstoke Town - Louie Soares on for Liam Enver-Marum
Flood goes up front, with Soares moving into the five-man midfield.
69 - Bromley continue to pile on the pressure, with Dennis waved to his feet by the referee after taking a tumble in the area and Birchall firing over from an acute angle.
68 - Good footwork from Williams, but Enver-Marum's touch is a little heavy and the chance is snuffed out.
67 - Town seem to have switched formations, with Flood moving to the right side of a five-man midfield. He has a crossing chance, but shanks it behind the goal.
65 - Not sure how it's not 1-1. The ball was bouncing around the Town area before Dennis got a cross in. It just needed a touch but it somehow evaded everybody.
64 - It's all Bromley now. Going to be a long final 27 minutes for Town fans at this rate.
Bit of justice about that penalty miss. The move started from a throw that should have been Town's.
60 - Bromley - Adam Birchall, Damian Scannell and Louis Dennis on for Moses Ademola, Jamie Slabber and Harry Grant.
58 - PENALTY SAVED
Slabber steps up and it's not a great kick, but Henly makes a big save, diving full-stretch to his right to save.
57 - Adamola races onto a long ball. Rice makes a good challenge but the forward goes over Gasson's outstretched leg and the referee points to the spot.
55 - Flood is onto Enver-Marum's flick, but Swaine does really well to make the challenge.
53 - Flood cuts in from the right and has a shot, but it's tame and well wide.
52 - A Bromley corner causes problems, reaching Swaine at the far post. He heads across goal, but Town somehow smuggle clear.
51 - Town shut down a Bromley attack and break through McAuley, but his pass is not hard enough to reach Williams.
49 - Town should be two goals up. McAuley cuts inside on his left foot and puts the ball perfectly onto the head of Enver-Marum. He should score but can only flick the ball against the far post.
Could be a massive moment in the game.
49 - Smart breaks out from defence, but Williams' pass is too far ahead of McAuley.
46 - Good work by Smart down the right ends with him being fouled, but Town are unable to make anything of the free-kick.
Bromley get the second half under way.
The teams make their way back out for the second half. Can Town claim all three points? Would be a really good win.
1-0 up at Bromley at HT.......Is the team starting to gel? #bastown— @StokieDragon 16 August 2014
Reading are also leading at the break. They are 1-0 up against visiting Ipswich Town thanks to Jake Taylor's goal.
A really good first-half performance from Town. They were excellent without the ball and caused problems with it.
Bromley have not been great, but then they've not been allowed to play. Will be interesting to see how they try to change things at the break.
Bromley 0-1 Basingstoke Town
45 - Joe Anderson has a low shot but it lacks power and Henly is down to make the save.
44 - Rice has a tug on the shoulder of Ademola just outside the area and that's a dangerous free-kick for the hosts, in a central area about 25 yards out.
43 - Joseph-Dubois out-muscles Jenkinson in the area but drags his shot just wide. Close.
41 - Flood wins possession in a good area but McAuley tries to do too much and loses the ball.
39 - Bromley 0-1 Basingstoke Town - Manny Williams (pen)
Williams makes no mistake from 12 yards, finding the right-hand corner despite Brown diving the right way.
Dunn breaks into the area to get on the end of Williams' pass and goes down under a challenge from Fuseini. The referee points to the penalty spot.
36 - Smart and Jenkinson conspire to give the ball away in a bad area, but Bromley fail to capitalise, making a mess of the final ball.
35 - Swaine gets up to meet a free-kick into the Town area but cannot keep his header down.
33 - Good play from Bromley, with Fuseini releasing Udoji down the right, but his cross is just above Harry Grant.
32 - More good play from Flood puts Dunn into the area, but he cannot evade a challenge and the chance fades away.
30 - Another shaky moment at the back for Town, but three players get in the way of Joseph-Dubois' shot and the danger passes.
29 - A long ball forward catches Gasson in two minds and he is out-muscled by Ademola. He's through but cannot get a shot away with Robbie Rice covering and Town clear their lines.
Town are doing well at the moment, pressing high up the pitch with great energy to stop Bromley playing.
27 - Great play from Gasson, Bird and Dunn down the left, but there's nobody in the area to get on the end of Dunn's centre.
Town do force their first corner, which Brown flaps at, but the hosts are able to clear.
26 - Nothing comes of the free-kick, but Jenkinson has a shot from the edge of the area. Over and wide.
24 - Great hussle from Williams and Dunn to win the ball high up the pitch. Liam Enver-Marum is offside but play is brought back for a foul.
23 - Dunn fails to make the most of a promising position for Town and Bromley go forward, but Slabber cannot get high enough to control his header from another Udoji cross.
22 - Important header from Gasson to deny Joseph-Dubois a chance.
20 - Tom Bird is getting some joy down the left, but his cross is too close to Bromley goalkeeper Seb Brown.
19 - Town survive a sticky moment at the back, with Dunn smuggling the ball away.
18 - Flood gets up to meet McAuley's free-kick into the box, but it's too high for him and he can only nod wide.
Town look dangerous when they manage to get hold of the ball in forward areas though.
Bromley are allowing the Town defenders to have the ball, but the strikers are cutting off the route into midfield, depriving Andrew Jenkinson of space and forcing the visitors to go a bit more direct.
15 - Another crossing opportunity for Udoji results in the right-back over-hitting his centre.
14 - McAuley looks like he is in behind, but the offside flag is up. He made a mess of the one-on-one anyway.
13 - Great footwork from Flood, who has made a really strong start, and his pull-back is just about cut out before it reaches Simon Dunn. Manny Williams is onto the loose ball, but slices his shot wide.
12 - Another chance for Flood, but this one's much harder. His first effort is blocked but the ball comes back to him on his left foot and he gets undeneath his volley from the edge of the area.
10 - Sustained pressure from the hosts ends with Ademola shooting from the edge of the area, but his low effort is too close to Henly, who saves comfortably.
Town are playing a midfield diamond again. Looks like 4-4-2 for Bromley, with Ademola and Slabber in attack.
8 - Nice move down the Town left and Shaun McAuley tees Chris Flood up on the edge of the area. He has a bit of time, but fires over. A good chance.
5 - The ball breaks for Ademola inside the six-yard-box and that's a good save from Henly. The resulting corner causes problems too, with Slabber eventually poking the ball wide.
3 - The ball breaks for Fuseini on the edge of the Town area, but he is unable to get a proper shot away and the ball bobbles through to goalkeeper Jonathan Henly.
2 - Ugo Udoji crosses from the Bromley right but Nathan Smart is able to shepherd the ball behind for a goal-kick.
Basingstoke get the game under way. Town, in blue today, are shooting from right to left as I look, towards the car park end of the ground.
Bromley's kit is a flash one, mainly white with the badge incorporated on the back.
The tunnel has been moved into position and the performance is over. Here come the players!
The Town players make their way from the field to carry out their final preparations in the changing room.
The performance is under way. So is Town's shooting practice.
Things aren't getting much better for United under new boss Louis van Gaal. They've been beaten by Swansea at Old Trafford.
I'm now hoping that one of the other players in my fantasy team doesn't play so I get Sigurdsson's points.
In the Premier League, Swansea look set to beat Manchester United 2-1, with ex-Royal Gylfi Sigurdsson getting the winner. He's in my Fantasy League team, but only on the bench today sadly.
We are about to be treated to a 10 minute performance from a local talent school. Good to see clubs involving groups from the local community.
It's a sunny, but quite chilly afternoon in Kent. Bit of an autumnal feel sadly, but the pitch looks in really good shape.

Big game away today at Bromley be positive lads we can do it #BasTown— @johnyg49 16 August 2014
Plenty of other sport going on this afternoon elsewhere.
You can follow the Southern League Division local derby between Hook and Newnham Basics and Basingstoke and North Hants by clicking here.
In other football, Reading are hosting Ipswich Town in the Championship. I'll try to keep you up to date with how they are getting on.
Bromley: Brown, Udoji, Anderson, Fuseni, Swaine, Bailey-Dennis, Joseph-Dubois, Prestledge, Slabber, Ademola, Grant. Subs: Waldren, Dennis, Scannell, Birchall, Higgins.
Basingstoke Town: Henly, Smart, Bird, Jenkinson, Gasson, Rice, Dunn, McAuley, Enver-Marum, Flood, Williams. Subs: Ray, Soares, Macklin, Argent, Owusu.
Basingstoke manager Jason Bristow is sticking with the starting 11 that beat Bath City 4-0 on Tuesday, so Chris Flood continues in attack alongside Liam Enver-Marum. It's the same substitutes as well, so Nicholas Bignall must still be injured.
Bromley include several well-known players at this level, like defender Rob Swaine, midfielder Ali Fuseini and forwards Pierre Joseph-Dubois, Jamie Slabber and Moses Ademola.
They have a strong bench too, with Damian Scannell and Adam Birchall, who scored loads of goals for Dover a couple of years ago, on the bench.
Good afternoon and welcome to live text commentary from Basingstoke Town's Vanarama Conference South trip to highly-fancied Bromley.
