9:43pm

Thanks for joining us here tonight. Another win for Saints. We'll have reaction for you on the website later and a full report in tomorrow's Daily Echo.

9:40pm

BOURNEMOUTH 0 SAINTS 1

9:34pm

GOAL RULED OUT (88 mins): Cherries think they have equalised, as Brett Pitman heads in Iann Harte's in-swinging free-kick, but the goal is ruled out for offside. [0-1]

9:30pm

CHANCE (84 mins): Sam McQueen tries his luck with a left-footed effort from 18 yards that deflects off Matt Ritchie and goes over for a corner. [0-1]

9:24pm

CHANCE (78 mins): A rare sight of goal here, as Emmanuel Mayuka receives the ball down the inside-left channel, cuts onto his right foot on the corner of the area and curls a shot wide of the far post. [0-1]

9:22pm

Off: Pelle, Isgrove, Ward-Prowse.

On: Gallagher, Mayuka, Stephens.

9:18pm

Very little goalmouth action here in the second half at Bournemouth. The hosts have just made a raft of changes, with the substitutions not helping the flow of the game. [0-1]

9:07pm

Off: Yoshida, Tadic, S Davis.

On: Hooiveld, McQueen, Reed.

8:56pm

CHANCE (48 mins): Matt Ritchie, on at the break for the hosts, goes close to equalising, but his slicing left-foot shot from 20 yards flies just wide of the post. [0-1]

8:51pm

The second half is underway.

8:51pm

Saints: Gaston Ramirez off, Jack Cork on.

8:35pm

BOURNEMOUTH 0 SAINTS 1

8:30pm

CHANCE (40 mins): Bournemouth have their most dangerous moment of the game so far, as Josh McQuoid's cross from the right deflects off Matt Targett and loops towards the far corner. Artur Boruc is caught off guard, and has to fling himself to his right to claw the ball away. He then has to tip a strike from Charlie Daniels wide moments later. [0-1]

8:27pm

CHANCE (37 mins): Steven Davis lays the ball of to James Ward-Prowse, who lines up a shot from 25 yards. Cherries keeper Benji Buchel dives to his right to meet the low drive. There's a worrying moment for the hosts, though, as Buchel allows the ball to slip underneath him, but he recovers quickly to grab it. [0-1]

8:14pm

CHANCE (23 mins): Graziano Pelle wastes an excellent chance to make it 2-0. Some neat interplay creates the opportunity for him, as Gaston Ramirez finds Steven Davis on the edge of the area with a low pass. He doesn't have much room, but produces a delicate little through ball that puts Pelle in, only for the Italian forward to shoot straight at Cherries keeper Benji Buchel, who beats the shot away. [0-1]

8:11pm

BOURNEMOUTH 0 SAINTS 1 (Lloyd Isgrove 20)

Saints are off and running here at the Goldsands Stadium. Dusan Tadic plays a ball into the path of the overlapping Nathaniel Clyne down the right wing, and the full-back's first-time cross is met by Isgrove, who produces a diving header that skids into the far corner.

8:03pm

CHANCE (13 mins): Gaston Ramirez is starting his first game of pre-season, after returning from World Cup duty with Uruguay. He goes close to opening the scoring here, finding room just outside the right corner of the penalty area and unleashing a fierce left-foot strike that goes just over. [0-0]

7:57pm

CHANCE (7 mins):  Maya Yoshida misses a good chance to put Saints in front, getting free at the near post - with the help of a block from Dusan Tadic - to meet a James Ward-Prowse corner, but he doesn't make a strong enough contact on the ball, glancing it well wide of the far post. [0-0]

7:49pm

Referee Andy Davies gets the match underway. Bournemouth in red and black, Saints in their navy away strip.

7:35pm

The players have just finished their warm-ups here at the Goldsands Stadium and have headed back into the dressing rooms. Kick-off is in ten minutes' time.

7:34pm

Basingstoke Gazette: Harrison Reed

Elsewhere at Saints today, teenage midfielder Harrison Reed has signed a new four-year contract with the club. The deal takes the 19-year-old through to 2018. Click here for the full story.

7:13pm

Basingstoke Gazette: Dejan Lovren

The big news this evening is that a fee, believed to be around the £20m mark, has been agreed between Saints and Liverpool for Dejan Lovren. The centre-half, who has already handed in a transfer request and said he feels as though his head is at Anfield, is expected to undergo a medical with the Reds this weekend. Read the full story by clicking here.

7:07pm

Anybody interested in football-related financial matters, (for example documents at Companies House), you might be interested in researching the Russian-owned company "Goldsands", after which Bournemouth's ground was renamed last year. For example: What is the company's business? What do they do? What are their income streams? What are their profits?

Just a suggestion to get you started on some financial research.

Alas, it seems that the only way he'll get the runs right now is if someone feeds him a very dodgy curry.

Would be great to witness him get a ton, though.

Don't worry, they will soon. With all the profit they are making from player sales!! Do they have an amount invested in loans to reclaim?
And we thought Mitchell ripped us of your loss could be a monumental amount and leave you with nothing.
