BASINGSTOKE Town have unveiled a new away kit for the 2014-15 season - a design selected by supporters via social media.
Throughout May, fans were given the chance to select their favourite design from four options via the club's forum, Facebook and Twitter. There was an overwhelming winner, with supporters voting for a white kit with blue trim.
Basingstoke midfielder Simon Dunn, who was one of the people who voted for the white kit, said: “I’m really glad that this kit was the one chosen. It looks sleek, smart and feels very light to wear – I can’t wait for the season to begin.”
It's been a busy couple of weeks at the Camrose, with Wickes and Melanie Curtis Chartered Accountants signing up as a club sponsors and Town pledging their support for St Michael's Hospice.
Wickes DIY Superstore donated a large amount of paint and materials to allow volunteers to spruce up the Camrose, while local charity St Michael's Hospice will be Town's nominated charity for the forthcoming season.
