SAINTS star Luke Shaw could become the most expensive teenager in history after reports that Manchester United has offered £34m for the defender, it is reported today.
The 18-year-old, who will make his World Cup debut for England against Costa Rica this afternoon, had already attracted a £27m bid from the club before he jetted off to Brazil with the national squad.
But now it is understood that United have raised their bid, which if agreed, will exceed the £32.5m the club paid Everton for Wayne Rooney ten years ago.
Saints have not commented on reports of the record-breaking sum, which would make him the most expensive teenager in world football.
On Sunday a national newspaper revealed how a Playboy model claimed that the wonderkid had been “sexting” her and asked for a threesome with her twin sister.
