HATCH Warren Phoenix have completed their first season in the Peter Houseman Youth League and are now busy playing in various tournaments.
Both the Blaze and Flames competed in a tournament at Popley and Charlie North was Phoenix’s player of the tournament.
The following week, some Phoenix players travelled to Fleet Spurs.
Harry Hartgill played well as he paired up with the feisty Matthew Bull and player-of-the-tournament Charlie Barlow.
Goalkeeper Jack Jupp had a spell in an outfield position and was very effective working with Brayden Bavister and the versatile North.
The team then made the short trip to Oakley for a hotly contested tournament and hit the net numerous times, with goals from Bull, North, Xavier Kirby-Payne and player-of-the-tournament Charlie Allen.
