James Ward-Prowse got one over on Saints teammate Lloyd Isgrove tonight in England’s 3-1 victory over Wales in European Under-21 Championship qualifying.

Nathan Redmond was the England hero, hitting all his team’s goals at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium – capitalising on a slip from Isgrove, who was substituted on 40 minutes, to open the scoring 18 minutes in.

Gwion Edwards brought the hosts level on 20 minutes – out-jumping Ward-Prowse at the near post – but further strikes from Redmond (38, 90) moved England to the brink of qualifying for the play-offs to reach the Euro finals.
