BASINGSTOKE Twenty-Ten are through to the quarter-finals of the North Hants Junior Cup thanks to an easy 7-3 win against visiting Andover Dynamos on Saturday.
Goals from Joe Hill and Carl Pearson had Twenty-Ten two ahead after just 10 minutes and while the Andover side pulled one back, Jack Clarke smashed in a straight hat-trick to make it 5-1 at half-time.
Substitute Frank Spacagna got the sixth and while Dynamos then pulled two back, it was Twenty-Ten’s Joe Osborne who had the final word, with the hosts setting up a trip to Bengal Brasserie in the next round.
Herriard will have to travel to Kings Somborne in the third round of the North Hants May Cup on Saturday after the match was postponed for a second time last weekend. The winners will meet Hampshire Irons in the quarter-finals.
