Shaw withdraws from England U21s friendly

Saints starlet Luke Shaw and Tom Ince have pulled out of the England Under-21 squad for Tuesday's game against Scotland.
Shaw, 18, hobbled off in the first half of Southampton's pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad yesterday with suspected knee ligament damage.
Incredibly, it is the fourth time that the uncapped left-back has had to withdraw from the under-21s squad due to injury.
No reason has been cited for Ince's withdrawal, although the Blackpool forward has been suffering with a groin injury of late.
Everton's Luke Garbutt has been drafted in to the squad as a replacement.
Roy Hodgson took charge of a training session that lasted just over two hours at St George's Park this morning.
The England boss has agreed to take charge of the Young Lions for Tuesday's game at Bramall Lane as the Football Association looks for a long-term replacement for Stuart Pearce, whose contract was not renewed following the team's disappointing European Championship campaign.
