This live event has finished
9:34pm
FULL-TIME - Basingstoke Town 2 Maidenhead United 0
That was as comfortable a win as Town have had all season and it's now five without defeat.
Another clean sheet as well. A good night all round.
See Thursday's Gazette for a full report and all of the reaction to tonight's game.
9:32pm
YELLOW CARD - Ashley Bayes - Basingstoke Town
Bayes is booked for time wasting.
9:32pm
There will be three minutes of added time. Maidenhead are enjoying a bit of pressure, with the 'keeper still going up for set-pieces, but Town are defending well.
9:30pm
Good defending by Rob Rice as a ball goes into the area, the defender just nicking it away from the striker and over.
9:29pm
Five minutes to go and Maidenhead's 'keeper goes forward for a corner. Desperation and he has to get back quickly when Town clear their lines.
He's up for everything, free-kicks as well.
9:22pm
YELLOW CARD - Delano Sam-Yorke - Basingstoke Town
A harsh yellow for Sam-Yorke after he catches Mark Nisbet.
9:21pm
Bit of pressure from the visitors. Chris Flood has a shot blocked by Nathan Smart and Daniel Brown fires well wide.
9:20pm
SUBSTITUTION - Maidenhead United - Jonathan Hippolyte on for Richard Pacquette
9:19pm
Delano Sam-Yorke does well down the left but his final ball towards Jordace Holder-Spooner is not good enough.
Town are keeping the ball well and, whisper it, seem to be killing the game.
9:16pm
Rob Rice fouls David Pratt 25 yards out and it's a decent strike from the free-kick, but Derek Duncan's effort is too central and it's easy for Ashley Bayes.
9:10pm
YELLOW CARD - Martel Powell - Maidenhead United
Powell catches Wes Daly twice in quick succession and becomes the first name in the referee's notebook.
9:08pm
SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Jordace Holder-Spooner on for Manny Williams
9:08pm
Maidenhead's Chris Flood crosses from the right and Ashley Bayes is relieved to see it on the roof of the net. The referee gives a corner but I think he may have just tipped it over.
9:06pm
Great persistance by Delano Sam-Yorke to fashion a chance for himself - but it's a terrible scuffed effort that goes out for a throw.
9:02pm
DOUBLE SUBSTITUTION - Maidenhead United - Martel Powell and Chris Flood on for Joe Tabiri and Reece Tison-Lascaris
8:59pm
Close to a third again. Manny Williams plays Delano Sam-Yorke in and it's a great challenge from Devante McKain to take the ball off his toe just as he was about to let fly.
8:56pm
Simon Dunn is fouled just outside the area and Town try a training ground move from the free-kick, Wes Daly looking to pass to Delano Sam-Yorke. It doesn't work.
8:54pm
Maidenhead's Reece Tison-Lascaris shows good feet in the area before feeding Richard Pacquette but he fails to get a proper shot away and it's easy for Ashley Bayes.
8:50pm
Bit of a tussle between Manny Williams and Derek Duncan after the ball goes out for a throw but it's handbags and the referee calls the captains over to calm things down.
8:45pm
KICK-OFF
Town get the second-half underway. No changes at the break for either side.
8:43pm
There are a few other games in the Blue Square Bet South tonight and the half-time scores are: Welling 2 Tonbridge 0, Sutton 0 Truro 0, Havant 3 Billericay 0, Eastleigh 1 Boreham Wood 0.
8:32pm
HALF-TIME - Basingstoke Town 2 Maidenhead United 0
A very good first-half for Town, who have carried on from where they left off against Salisbury and Welling.
They have been the better side and could be further ahead. They just need that third goal so everyone can relax.
8:30pm
There will one additional minute at the end of this first-half.
8:28pm
Another run from Delano Sam-Yorke causes problems, the striker showing great feet in the area. The ball seems to get away from him at the crucial moment and his toe poke at goal is only just taken away from Tim Sills by some good defending.
8:26pm
Close to a third for Town as Delano Sam-Yorke's powerful run draws the defence but ends in a great pass that puts Ben Jefford through on goal. Unfortunately the ball is on his wrong foot and it's a weak effort too close to the goalkeeper, who was off his line quickly.
8:20pm
Manny Williams is a real nuisance and his persistance closing down defenders almost makes a chance - but they just about clear.
8:15pm
Tim Sills gets on the end of a cross from deep but it's easy for Maidenhead goalkeeper Billy Lumley.
8:14pm
Maidenhead really should have pulled one back there. A free-kick into the six-yard box was bouncing around, with nobody able to make proper contact until David Pratt - but he fires over from close range.
8:11pm
Leon Solomon gets in down the Maidenhead right and his low cross finds David Pratt, who gets a toe on the ball but fails to beat Ashley Bayes.
8:06pm
A good ball from Manny Williams releases Tim Sills but his angled drive lacks power is straight at the Maidenhead goalkeeper.
8:00pm
That could have been 3-0 as Delano Sam-Yorke got in behind the Maidenhead defence, but he was forced wide and the chance fizzled out.
7:57pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 2 Maidenhead United 0 - Manny Williams (12 min)
A corner is only headed away as far as taker Wes Daly and his second cross is right onto the head of MANNY WILLIAMS at the near post. He heads home powerfully for his eighth goal in seven games but doesn't celebrate against his old club.
7:55pm
Good run from Town left-back Ben Jefford but his attempted ball in takes a deflection and is claimed by Billy Lumley.
The Reading youngster is at it again soon after, but this time his cross is overhit.
7:49pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 1 Maidenhead United 0 - Wes Daly (4 min)
That's a lovely goal by the hosts. Simon Dunn shows good control with his chest and plays the ball into Manny Williams on the edge of the area and his backheel gives WES DALY the chance to run through.
His first touch is exceptional, heavy enough to take the defence out of the game but soft enough to allow him to get on the end of it and fire low past Billy Lumley in the Maidenhead goal.
7:49pm
Maidenhead have a bit of pressure but it comes to nothing.
7:46pm
Simon Dunn's cross from the left causes problems and forces the first corner of the night - but nothing comes of it.
7:45pm
KICK-OFF
Maidenhead get the game started. Town clearly won the toss and will shoot up the slope in the first-half.
7:42pm
The teams are in the tunnel ready to brave the elements.

7:34pm
Looks like it's going to be a very small crowd, which is hardly surprising considering how cold it is - but it's a shame for former Town favourite David Pratt, who lines up for the visitors today and will probably get a good reception.
Maidenhead must be struggling for numbers as they only have four men on the bench, including Jonathan Hippolyte, who I assume is the son of manager Johnson.
7:30pm

Basingstoke manager Jason Bristow names the same team that so nearly beat league leaders Welling on Saturday.
Simon Dunn is clearly fit, while the returning Stuart Lake has to settle for a place on the bench, with Nathan Campbell continuing in the midfield holding role.
