TRON Reserves beat Chineham Albion Reserves 4-2 in the Basingstoke B Cup semi-final on Saturday and will face either Pure Spartan or Overton United A for the trophy.

Iain McFee had a shot parried by Weaver and Ashley Howlett followed up to see Albion in front.

A Darren White shot in the 62nd minute was half-stopped by Warren Hopkins and Marvyn White equalised. Lee Neal then put away a pass from Neil Ryan to see Tron in front but Alex Brown made it 2-2 with nine minutes left.

Tron got on top and netted twice in the final stages, both scored by Darren White.

There were also games in the Peter Raynbird Cup, with Kingsclere, FC Censo, Basingstoke Rangers and Poison all getting through to the third round.
