DIVISION One basement club Chineham Albion booked a place in the last four of North Hants Junior Cup with a 2-1 win over AFC Berg.
Chineham took the lead on 44 minutes, when John Clarke picked up a loose ball, went on a run and beat advancing goalkeeper Nick Tucker.
They had a great chance of a second when awarded a penalty after Nick Saunders was brought down, but Tim Wright’s spot-kick sailed over the bar.
On 55 minutes, Chineham did double their advantage through Leon Dolton following a good run and pass from Saunders.
Berg scored with 10 minutes left through Kieran Allayne to set up a tense finish, but Chineham held on.
Joining Chineham in the semi-finals are AFC White Hart and Tron Reserves, but Chineham Albion Reserves were knocked out by Andover outfit Kings Somborne.
