SHERFIELD chalked up their sixth Division One win in a row with a 3-1 victory over Bounty at Castle Field on Saturday.
It took them 10 minutes to take the lead through Gary Bootland, after Darren Bernsen had rounded goalkeeper Richard Vinn.
Bounty nearly equalised as Paul Clarke received a lay off from Olly Wilders and hit the bar from 20 yards out with the keeper beaten.
Sherfield then made it 2-0 on the hour as Dan Francis’s corner was uncontested by Bounty defenders and Paddy Callahan tapped in.
Callahan then added a third after a solo run, before, on 70 minutes Bounty scored their lone goal. Good build-up by Kae Butler and Steve Bucksey led to Andy Darmody being brought down in the penalty area and he got up and converted from the spot.
