POISON had three players dismissed and manager Paul Hastings sent to the dressing room so it was no wonder they lost 9-1 at reigning Premier Division champions Censo.
The home side were two up after 20 minutes and then Poison’s Stacey White was sent off for a deliberate hand-ball some 40 yards out from goal.
This led to a very strong protest, including abusive language to the referee from Jon Flanagan and the manager, leaving Poison with nine men.
Despite this, on 50 minutes new signing Richard McCoubrie scored a free-kick to make it 2-1.
Shortly afterwards Poison went down to eight men as Colin Jones received his marching orders.
After this Censo piled on the pressure in the final 30 minutes. The Censo goals came from a James Arris hat-trick, a brace for Lee Chambers and Matt Bennett along with singles for Josh Thomson and Luke Richardson while Gordon Birch missed a penalty.
