PHILIP Thomas made it two centuries in two games as Odiham and Greywell maintained their Hampshire Cricket League Regional Division One title charge with a big win at Basingstoke and North Hants IV.

Thomas, who had hit 165 the previous week, smashed his way to 123 as the league leaders amassed 326-6 batting first.

The Bountymen were unable to match this, being restricted to 152-9 in reply, giving Odiham a 174-run win.

Another in-form batsman is Simon Grant, who hit an unbeaten 148 as Sherfield-on-Loddon reached 235-6 away at Littleton and West Hill II. The hosts were then bowled out for 212, giving Sherfield a 25-run win.

Herriard claimed a hard-earned eight-wicket win away at Longparish II. The hosts made 216-5, but Herriard won with nine balls remaining, thanks to unbeaten knocks from Miles Kellock (90) and James Beckwith (54).

Ashford Hill won their local derby against visiting Ramsdell by 58 runs. Jon Bradley took 3-21 as Ashford Hill were restricted to 179-6, but Ramsdell were bowled out for 121 in reply, Ben Osborne taking 3-23.

Kingsclere were dismissed for 95 by hosts Tichborne Park II, going on to lose by seven wickets, while Old Basing II were bowled out for 111 chasing 280-8 away at Medstead.

An outstanding spell of bowling from Tim Culver helped Rotherwick ITW to a nine-wicket victory away at Over Wallop in Division Two North. Culver took four wickets for the concession of just nine runs from his 10 overs, bowling eight maidens, as the home side were bowled out for 44 to set up the win.

Odiham and Greywell II also claimed a victory. Chris Wiltshire took 3-29 as Amport II were restricted to 187-7, while Scott McGaughrin hit 55 as hosts Odiham won by six wickets.

Hook and Newnham Basics IV lost by 42 runs at Michelmersh and Timsbury II, being bowled out for 167 chasing 209-8. Old Basing III were dismissed for 134 by visiting Ropley II and lost by seven wickets, while Silchester were unable to defend their all-out total of 108 at Rowledge III, also going down by seven wickets.

Oakley II remain very much involved in the Division Three North East title battle after beating hosts AWE Tadley II by eight wickets.

Alex Brundle had an excellent game for Oakley, taking three wickets as the home side were restricted to 191-9 and hitting an unbeaten 53 in his side's winning reply. Steve Savage also made 53 before having to retire hurt with cramp.

Hartley Wintney III thumped visiting Colden Common II by 124 runs. Matthew Brown hit 51 as Hartley reached 220-5, while Graham Selden took 5-39 as the visitors were bowled out for just 96.

Overton III also enjoyed a big win. Eliot Kerr took 3-19 as hosts St Cross Symondians VI were bowled out for 98, a target Overton chased down to win by nine wickets.

Jay Ahuji took 4-48 and Dilan Saujani 3-25 as Basingstoke and North Hants V bowled Sparsholt III out for 137, a total that the Bountymen chased down to win by four wickets.

St Mary's promotion hopes were dealt a blow as they lost to visiting Compton and Chandlers Ford III, being bowled out for 156 chasing 207-8.

Odiham and Greywell III's struggles continued as they were bowled out for 150 chasing visiting Aldershot IV's 233-6.

Overton II remain fourth in Division Four North West after bowling hosts OTs and Romsey V out for 111 and winning by six wickets.

Despite only having 10 men, Whitchurch II beat visiting Ashford Hill II by 91 runs in Division Four North. Mat Vickery took 3-21 as Whitchurch were bowled out for 167, but Martyn Dancer finished with figures of 4-19 as Ashford Hill's reply ended on 76.

Second-placed Ramsdell II were beaten by visiting Hungerford II. Mark Andrews took 3-46 but Hungerford reached 259-8, while Ramsdell could only muster 183-6 in reply.

Herriard II beat visiting Wherwell II by 44 runs. Herriard were bowled out for 149, but Colin Dwyer took 3-17 as the visitors were dismissed for 105 in reply.
