ODIHAM and Greywell II sit second in Hampshire Cricket League Regional Division One North after thumping Herriard by 168 runs.

Visiting Odiham were bowled out for 250, with Gareth Cloutt taking 4-7, but Herriard simply couldn't deal with the bowling of Tom Wiltshire, who took 6-10 as the hosts were dismissed for just 82 in reply.

Kingsclere enjoyed a six-wicket win over visiting Donnington. Ross Andrews took 4-23 and Louis Ramage 3-24 as Kingsclere bowled their visitors out for 154, a total they reached thanks to Andrews (46) and Henry Johnson (47 not out).

Ramsdell sprang a surprise by beating leaders Tichborne Park II. The table-toppers reached 193-8, a target that visiting Ramsdell chased down to win by three wickets.

Elsewhere in the division, it was bad news all round for north Hampshire sides.

High-flying Ashford Hill lost by 109 runs at Medstead, being bowled out for 130 chasing 239-8, while struggling Old Basing II went down by 152 runs at Old Alresford, being dismissed for 102 chasing 256-4.

Adi Nixon took 3-63 as Sherfield-on-Loddon restricted Longparish II to 224-8, but while Simon Grant made 74, struggling Sherfield's reply ended on 177.

Basingstoke and North Hants IV were also lost heavily. Mark Richards took 4-26 and Grant Jones 3-63 as hosts Crown Taverners made 243, but the Bountymen were bowled out for just 88 in reply, losing by 155 runs.

Old Basing III sit top of the pile in Division Two North after a 25-run win over visiting Otterbourne. Varneet Shukla's unbeaten 53 helped hosts Old Basing reach 164-9, with Ambrish Vyas taking 5-23 as Otterbourne were bowled out for 139.

Hook and Newnham Basics IV beat Penton by six wickets. Aaron Simpson took 4-6 as Hook bowled their visitors out for 203, with Sam Lovelock's 74 helping the home side to a comfortable win.

Silchester scraped a two-run win away at Rotherwick ITW. Adam Cordery took 4-31 as the visitors were bowled out for 143 and while Rotherwick kept wickets in hand, they were only able to reach 141-5.

Odiham and Greywell II's game against visiting Hawkley was rained off.

Oakley II maintained their 100 per cent record in Division Three North East with an eight-wicket win away at Basingstoke and North Hants V.

Perry King and Nathan Rabley both claimed three wickets as Basingstoke were dismissed for 132, while Michael Wood hit 73 in Oakley's successful reply.

St Mary's got the better of struggling Odiham and Greywell III, beating their hosts by 57 runs.

Marc Minikin top-scored with 56 as St Mary's reached 218-8, despite Kerry Hartnett taking 4-50. Zrar Maqmood did his best to earn the win for Odiham, making 72, but Andy Tucker took 4-13 as the hosts were dismissed for 161.

Andy Stead's 69 helped Tadley II to 219-8, a total that proved to be enough as they restricted visiting Liphook and Ripsley III to 207-8, Michael Robertson taking 3-33.

Hartley Wintney III beat visiting Holybourne II by 16 runs, successfully defending 123.

Overton II sit fourth in Division Three North West after bowling visiting Wilton out for 93 and winning by nine wickets.

Herriard II bowled Aldershot V out for just 83 in Division Four North East, with Joshua Knowles taking 3-11 and Adam Soper 3-24. They went on to win by two wickets.

Stewart Freeman was agonisingly close to making a century for Ashford Hill II, being dismissed on 99 as his side reached 239-7. Visiting Crown Taverners II got the required runs, winning by two wickets despite Mat Vickery taking 3-31.

Ramsdell II remain top despite losing by seven wickets at home to bottom side Wherwell II, failing to defend their total of 204-8.
