RAJEEV Nair continued his fine form for Hartley Wintney’s seconds, as he helped them to a 10 wicket victory at Chawton in the Hampshire League County Division Three North.
Nair hit a six to win the match, as he finished on 98, which included six more sixes and 11 fours, as along with Rex Porter (37) they reached 143-0.
This was after Chawton were bowled out for 138 as James Beckwith took 4-24.
Hook and Newnham III (242-7) went down by five wickets to RAMS, while Odiham and Greywell (134-1) won by nine wickets over Dinton.
Hook II’s enjoyed a three wicket success in Division One as they won at Ryde, as Kishore Parmar took 3-35. Liam Doran (70) and Ben Allnutt (53) led the winner’s reply of 279-7.
In Division Two, Darren Turner had a great day with bat and ball as Old Basing won at Redlynch by 92 runs. Turner (63) and Ollie Hall (56) helped the visitors to 239-9 and then the home side were bowled out for 147, thanks to Turner (5-37) and Greg Donaldson (3-29).
Basingstoke III (154-8) lost by seven wickets at Parley.
Oakley bowled out Old Basing II for 126 in a seven wicket win, after Brad Compton-Bearne’s reduced them to 17-3 in Division Four North.
Basingstoke IV (186) lost by 122 runs to St Cross IV as Tom Hartgill (61) top scored, after Rob Bowen (4-41) and Garfield Coombs (3-42) got amongst the wickets. Overton (196-6) beat Rowledge by four wickets.
