DAVE Price and Callum Coombs both scored 69 as part of a third wicket stand worth 131, as Basingstoke and North Hants III beat visiting Ferndown by 23, in the Hampshire League County Division Two.

Price and Coombs helped the home side to 224-7 and then the visitors were bowled out for 201, as Mandeep Sharma (3-25) and Mike Vinn (3-44) took wickets.
