RAMSDELL enjoyed a magnificent seventh win on the trot to maintain second spot in the County Division Four North East, as they won at Whitchurch by eight wickets.

The damage was done early on by the visitors as the home side were reduced to 47-7 thanks to Jonny Bradley (3-25) and Mike Lerigo (4-9).

It was left to Stef Edirisinghe (3-5) to mop up the tail as Whitchurch were all out for 79.

In reply, Tom de Boinville rushed to 19 with the help of two fours and a towering six, Josh Holland maintained momentum with a sweetly struck maximum of his own.

It was left to Bradley (25) and Michael Abbott to complete the job with more than 30 overs to spare.

Leaders Odiham and Greywell returned to winning ways with a three wicket success at Hurstbourne Priors (216-5) as Peter Hodgson took 3-48 and Kyran Munt top scored with 62 in their winning reply of 217-7.

An unbeaten 98 from James Lovegrove helped AWE Tadley to a nine wicket success at St Cross IV.

He shared a first wicket partnership worth 1551 with Will Belfield (44) in their winning 203-1.

St Cross were bowled out for 202, as Andy Burt topped the wicket takers with 3-44.

Oakley cruised to a 114 run success over visiting Wherwell. Neil Warner (59 not out) and Gerry Dique (56) helped the home side to 219-7.

The visitors were then bowled out for 104 thanks to Clive Welsman (4-14) and Alex Brundle (4-25).

Basingstoke and North Hants IV (135) lost to Alton III (281-4) despite Garfield Coombs 41. Ashfield Hill were bowled out for 128 and lost by 102 runs to Tichborne II.

Hartley Wintney II moved up to sixth in County Division Three North, after they beat East Woodhay.

Rex Porter (56), Darren McBride (56) and Matt Rudd (52) helped the home side to 232-7 and in reply the visitors reached 167-9 as Dan Reynaldo (3-21) and Tom Millward (3-43) got amongst the wickets.

Hook and Newnham Basics III (133) won at Chandlers Ford (80), while Overton were bowled out for 78 and lost by 10 wickets at Liss.

Old Basing are up to fifth place in Division Two, after 21 run success against Fair Oak (155). Greg Donaldson top scored with a run-a-ball 44 in their winning score of 176-8.

Basingstoke III won by three runs against visiting Hungerford (224-9). An unbeaten 63 from David Price and Matt Deadman (47) helped them to 227-6. Deadman (3-47) and Rakitha Perera (4-34) then made sure of the win.

Great knocks from Harry Warner (98) and Rhodes Franklin (67) were in vain as Hook II (247-9) lost at Bishop Waltham 275-6 in Division One.

l KERRY Hartnett had a great game with both bat and ball as Odiham and Greywell Women crushed Hursley Park by 10 wickets.

Hartlett took an impressive 3-7 from seven overs, including the wicket of Hursley top scorer Jemma Green (30).

Hartlett (37) and Lara Barrett then shared an unbroken first wicket stand of 52 in 19 overs.

The victory moved them up to third place in the Division One and this Sunday they are away at Cove.
