HARTLEY Wintney maintained their 100 per cent away record, with a great 84 run victory at Trojans.

The visitors put into bat by the home side made them pay, as Will Kerr (107) and Henry Collier (35) put on 110 for the first wicket, which enabled Hartley to reach 253 all out.

Mario Mohammed was the chief wicket taker for Trojans with 5-43.

The home side’s reply got off to the worst possible start as Rhys Batcup trapped opener Edward Boyd first ball.

Mahmood Ul Hassan (60) threatened to take the game away from the visitors, but Dan Reynaldo (3-21) ripped out the middle order as the home side found themselves 107-5.

Mark Teale (3-24) then had Hassan trapped leg before and along with skipper Danny Plume (2-15) they wiped out the tail, as the last five wickets added just 40 runs with Trojans all out for 169.

Hartley will be now look to continue their winning run next weekend, when they entertain league leaders Totton and Eling, but before this today they are in T20 Cup action at Hursley Park.
