BASINGSTOKE and North Hants were knocked out of the Club Championship, as they were beaten at Havant by four wickets.
Put into bat the Bountymen innings was dominated by an excellent knock by George Metzger as he top scored with 60.
He shared a second wicket partnership with opener Dan Belcher (27) worth 63 runs and a fourth wicket stand of 53 with Will Phillips (25).
In the end, the visitors were bowled out for 169 in the 44th over as Christopher Morgan (4-25) and Stephen Matthews (3-36) did most of the damage for home side.
Havant cruised to victory with seven overs to spare, as Andrew Gorvin top scored with 62 in their winning total of 170-6.
The wickets were spread around the Basingstoke attack with Matt Thankachan getting a pair and there was one each for Chris Chandler, Dave Griffiths, Mitch Stokes and Chris Jolley.
