WINNING is a habit Basingstoke and North Hants want to keep until the end of the season now, after they continue their recent winning run last Saturday.

This week they entertain Andover at May’s Bounty, before a final game at Southern League Division One leaders New Milton.

When they played Andover earlier in the season stand-in skipper Dan Coombs led by example with 84 as they won by five wickets.

All-rounder Graham Porter who made a surprise return from injury last weekend is set to miss the game, so impressive teenager Dan King is likely to return.

Froud said: “We just want to keep winning now until the end of the season.”

With leaders New Milton losing their second game of the campaign last weekend, the Bountymen could still have their say in the title when they face them in the final round of games.
