IT will be all change for Basingstoke and North Hants Cricket Club next season, with a new chairman and three new captains to take the club forward.
More than 40 members heard outgoing chairman Keith Harris tell the AGM that the club is in good shape and, with this in mind, he decided it would be a good time to step aside and allow some new blood to take over.
A presentation was made to Harris to recognise his 25 years as player, captain and chairman at Basingstoke.
Taking over as chairman is Andy Giles, who spoke of the need to focus on some key issues in 2012, enabling the club to progress and develop to a new level.
Bill Blake remains as secretary but Dan Coombs, currently away playing cricket in Australia, will take over as first team captain next season, with Chris Chandler taking on the crucial role of second string skipper. AK takes over the third team in 2012, while Derek Dicker will continue as fourth XI captain and Tom Hartgill remains in charge of the fifth team.
