Bountymen knocked out of National Cup

BASINGSTOKE and North Hants were knocked out of the National Cup on Sunday, as they lost to visiting Havant by 46 runs.

The visitors won the toss and decided to bat making 261-8 from their 45 overs, with Dean Nurse, Mitch Stokes and Chris Wood all taking two wickets each.

In reply, the home side were bowled out for 215 with openers Russell Droy and Wood top scoring with 29 and sharing a first wicket stand of 76.
