REX Porter and Will Kerr shared a 266-run second wicket partnership, as Hartley Wintney second eleven ranked up the runs last Saturday.

This was against visiting local rivals Hook and Newnham Basics III in Hampshire League County Division Three North.

Will Kerr scored 139 from 92 balls and included 15 fours and seven sixes, while opener Porter finished unbeaten on 119, which saw him collect two maximums and 12 fours as Hartley scored 318-4 Hook were bowled out for 131, as they lost by 187 runs.

James Peacock batting at number seven top scored with 60 and Dan Reynaldo (4-57) was the pick of the Hartley bowlers.

In County Division Two, Basingstoke and North Hants III won by six wickets over visiting Hayling Island.

Hayling scored 205-9 with Matt Deadman in fine form taking 5-50.

In the Bountymen's reply Dave Price (55) and Andy Neal (46) shared an unbroken fifth wicket stand worth 107. This was after Chris Jolley had hit 42.

Old Basing (175-6) returned to winning ways with four wicket success over Lock Heath (171).

Meanwhile, in County Division One, Alex Brown top scored for Hook II with 78 from 85 balls which saw three sixes and seven fours.

He was supported by Kevin Light (46) as the visitors reached 237-9 after US Portsmouth had scored 231-9.

Basingstoke IV won by 42 runs at Old Alresford (218-8) as AK Sankaranarayanan took 4-34 in County Division Four North.

Opener Benjamin Bissoon (80) and Lucas Freer (84) masterminded the winning score of 260-6.

Clive Welsman (52) top scored for Oakley in their179-6, as they won by four wickets over Bentworth 175-8.

James Lovegrove (48) and Rob Gardener (40) shared an unbroken third wicket century stand, as AWE Tadley scored 11-2 after Alton III were bowled out for 110.

Ed Treble scored 61 not out as Whitchurch scored 130-4 to win by six wickets over Medstead, Ashford Hill (135) lost to St Cross (213).
