HOOK and Newnham Basics will look to maintain their quest for the Southern League Division One crown, but face a visit from title rivals Andover this weekend.

Second placed Hook are three points behind leaders Sarisbury Athletic and face an Andover third in the standings.

When these sides met earlier in the season, Hook won at London Road by 71 runs thanks to a great all round team performance.

Only Rhodes Franklin is missing from the squad as Kieran Thomson, Nick Willcock and Shane Brewer all return and the superb form of opener Harry Warner on his first team debut has left skipper Matt Love with a selection headache ahead of the game.

Love said: “Harry produced a massive innings for us at Liphook batting all the way through for his 94 not out. This weekend is a massive game against a very good side. We are quietly confidence being at home and will be looking for another win.”
