TONY Robson starred with bat and ball as Hook and Newnham Basics V remain on course for the Hampshire Regional Division Four North East title.

Robson top scored with 50, as Hook made 164-8 and he then took 3-18, as Cove Academy were bowled out for 131 being supported by Trevor May (3-11).

Ashford Hill II also won by 19 runs over visiting Aldershot 164-9. Mark Ridley (79 not out) and Andy Wisden (60) helped Hill to 183 and then Aldershot reached 164-9 as Steve Wadsworth (3-34) was the pick of the bowlers.

Odiham and Greywell III made it a hat-trick of wins as they won at Easebourne by 86 runs.

The visitors scored 190-9 thanks mainly to Graham Jones (49) and Zachary Le Roux (44 not out) and then Sean Merriman (5-22) and Sanjay Arulchelvam (3-41) bowled out the home side for 104.

AWE Tadley II (136-3) won by seven wickets over Ampfield as Andy Stead top scored with 60 not out in Division Three North.

Ramsdell (140) lost by seven wickets at IBM Hursley II (144-3) and Herriard (33) went down by 30 runs to St Cross V. Overton III forfeited their game at Hartley Wintney III.

A great all-round performance from Amit Sapkal (60 and 5-21) helped St Marys to a 106 run success over OTs and Romsey V (84) in Division Two North. St Marys having scored 190-4 which saw Tom Lee scored 48.

Second placed Silchester (257) cruised to a 145-run victory over Old Basing (112). Shaun Bradley top scored with 144, while Shay Bradley (6-46) and Kieran Brace (3-14) did the damage with the ball.

Overton II (134-4) won by six wickets at Aldershot IV (132), but Herriard (144) lost by 159 runs at Twyford (301-6). Mike Dyer scored 44 for Hook IV (147) as they lost by four wickets to East Woodhay.

Oakley were bowled out for 89 after Perry King took three wickets as Easton II scored 239-6.

Graham Hill (65) and Justin Nicel (60 not out) helped Sherfield-on-Loddon to 215-5, but they lost by four wickets at Amport II in Division One North.

Arjun Miryala (65) top scored for Old Basing II (161) as they lost to Longparish (164-8). Kingsclere (78) went down by eight wickets at Ropley and Rotherwick ITW (129) lost to Crown Taverners (302-3).
