A HISTORY of Oakley Cricket Club Over 150 Years was written by Steve and Christine Savage and published in 1999.
When the original book when published cost was the limiting factor. E-publishing was not available and the book had to be limited to 96 pages.
The revised addition of the book is free and available only as an e-book. It can be downloaded at oakleycricketclub.co.uk/club-book/ A vast amount of research material was collected and only a small fraction of it was used in the original book.
A lot of this material has now been included in the revised book and more will be added in later releases.
