CALLUM Doran had a dream debut for Hook and Newnham Basics V in men’s cricket, against Liphook in the Hampshire Regional Division Four North East.

The 13-year-old took a magnificent seven wickets for 26 runs from his 10 overs, which helped his side to a nine wicket win.

The visitors were bowled out for 126 and thanks to an unbeaten 68 from Vinny Gardner, Hook reached their target losing just one wicket.

Dave Hiscock (111) and Andy Stenning (111) both hit centuries as Odiham and Greywell III scored a massive 378-7 on their way to a 227 run home victory over Tichborne.

Barry Monger’s excellent 5-15 saw Liss bowled out for 32, as they lost at Ashford Hill II by 159 runs as Daniel Hyland (83) top scored in their 191.

Whitchurch II completed a clean sweep of wins for local sides in the division, as they bowled Cove out for 52 in an 85-run success.

In Division Three North, AWE Tadley II enjoyed a 88-run win at Overton III, as Andrews Rimmer (64 and 3-33) had a good day. Calum Saint (76) also scored well for Tadley in their 312-5 and then Overton were out for 224 as Steve Kent (79) top scored. Herriard II (215-5) beat Ampfield (130), while Hartley Wintney III and Ramsdell both lost.

Silchester had a big win in Division Two North as their 262-3 proved too much for Oakley II's 122.

Odiham II bowled out Upper Clatford for 131 as they tried to chase down 210-7.

Old Basing III also cruised to home victory, as Littleton were all out for 103, after the home side scored 286-8, as Kannan Kumara (74) and Arjun Miriyala (65) topped the scoring. Elsewhere, Hook IV, St Mary’s and Overton II all lost.

Old Basing II (175-9) enjoyed a 15-run win over Kingsclere (160) in Division One North as Basing’s Adram Jerry (4-34) and Kingsclere’s Ross Andrews (4-32) did well with the ball. Rotherwick ITW and Sherfield-on-Loddon both lost in the same division.
