BASINGSTOKE and North Hants were knocked out of the National Cup as they were beaten by five wickets at Havant.
Martyn James was captain of a young side in place of the injured Mitch Stokes and decided to bat.
The visitors scored 200-7 from their 45 overs and Chris Jolley with an unbeaten 63 from 47 balls and included five fours and two sixes top scored with Joe Oates (33) the next best scorer.
The home side reached their target with 10 overs to spare as Jolley and Ashley Neal both took two wickets each.
