Fidel Edwards has thanked Hampshire for giving him the chance to play in the LV County Championship after winning their Marston's Pedigree bowler of the year award.
Edwards finished the season with 45 wickets at 20.88 after taking ten in a match for only the second time as Hampshire completed the Great Escape.
He was unable to be at the Hilton Hotel to receive his award on Sunday so posted his gratitude on instagram (above).
Edwards had not played a first-class match for more than a year before his availability came to Hampshire's attention during their pre-season tour of Barbados.
