BASINGSTOKE and North Hants will be hoping to snap a three-game losing run in the Southern League Division One when they travel to Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Bountymen are still third in the table, but they are coming under pressure from the teams below them.

They have struggled with the bat in recent weeks and captain Chris Froud said: “Collectively we are out of form with the bat so it would be nice to get some runs and post a decent total.”

Basingstoke will make one change to the side that lost to leaders New Milton on Saturday as Graham Porter, who took three wickets last weekend, is unavailable.

When Basingstoke played Bournemouth earlier in the season at May’s Bounty, the Dorset side won by two wickets thanks to a fine knock of 96 from their overseas player Joshua Finnie.
