HARTLEY Wintney will look to continue their great escape from the Southern League Division One relegation zone when they entertain Rowledge this Saturday.
The village side will be hoping to end their home campaign with a win that could drag Rowledge into the relegation battle ahead of the final weekend.
The Surrey side are currently 19 points clear of Hartley in seventh place, but with 22 points available for a win, they are within shooting range of the village side.
The mood in the Hartley camp is good after their excellent 119-run victory at fellow relegation rivals Totton and Eling last week.
Totton travel to in-form Liphook and Ripsley this weekend and are now just one point ahead of Hartley.
Captain Scott Baldwin will miss the game against Rowledge, so Richard Hill will take charge, but the skipper feels his side can do the job without him.
Baldwin said: “We played really well at Totton. We batted for the full 50 overs and then bowled them out. I am sure the guys can carry on playing the same way this weekend and hopefully we can get another win.”
