Rotherfield Park reach Guy Jewell Cup final
ROTHERFIELD Park will face Hook and Newnham Basics in the final of this year’s Finch Group Guy Jewell Cup final at May’s Bounty on Sunday August 30 (4pm).
The Alton-based side booked their place with an eight-wicket win over Eversley.
Bowling first, they restricted Eversley to 130-7 as Ollie Burland (51) and Steve Jordan (39) did well with bat, while Tom Paul (3-25) and Andy Tapp (3-39) got amongst the wickets.
Jack Penn led the reply with an unbeaten 78 as Rotherfield Park scored 133-2.
