SHERBORNE St John’s Ryan Murray took his first-ever five wicket haul in the Southern League Premier Division to help Hampshire Academy beat Burridge by 72 runs.
The seam bowler took the first two wickets of the visitors’ innings and then returned to take the last three as Burridge went from 217-7 to 243 all out.
Murray finished with figures of 5-43.
Earlier in the contest, Ben Duggan hit an unbeaten 125 as the Hampshire side reached 315-2.
Last Sunday, Murray and his team mates had hoped to book their place in the Southern Electric T20 final, but rain forced the game at South Wilts to be washed out.
The teams will now try again on the reserve date, August 9.
